No way!
Hosting is an individual service offered by Star Bear Atelier, and not dependent on purchasing additional services. If you want to take advantage of the *stellar* pricing of our CMS website hosting without any further services - we're happy to add you to the constellation!
Not as a user, no - but Star Bear will still have access.
While it is allowed to set up a site and not have Star Bear or Amy June Roe (owner of SBA) as 'users' within the site, due to Star Bear hosting the database that is your website there will always be an access point.
This is unavoidable and does not compromise your security, nor does it give permission for SBA or anyone on their behalf to view your content.
It should be noted though that by not giving SBA or AJR access to your site on the Star Bear Atelier agency server, it will make it more complicated to ascertain and/or fix any issues which may arise with your hosting.
Your database will be downloaded and delivered to you - just like with any other hosting company!
Whether termination is initiated by client or by SBA: databases will be made available for download/transfer and emailed to customer at email address on record unless alternative sharing measures are arranged within the 10 day window. Any paid tools or services using SBA agency plans will not transfer.
No refunds will be given for early termination whether initiated by either party.
Star Bear will be there to help!
There's actually very few things you can do which would mess up your hosting, and with our free backups you can always have a safe restore point available.
If something serious were to happen you would contact Star Bear Atelier and we would work together to resolve the issue.
Even if the agency's rates change over time, your individual rate will never go up!
There's always a possibility of price increases for services in business, but Star Bear Atelier won't pass along those expenses by increasing your rates!
